This is a true vintage pair of Mickey Thompson finned aluminum valve covers for Ford FE Big Block engines. These are real deal vintage covers and to my knowledge fit all Ford FE engines. These are the very rare 427 specific valve covers with the H/P 427 logos cast into the large knockout areas and the Ford Oval cast into the small knockouts. To add to the rarity of these valve covers, all 4 knockout areas are intact and undisturbed. These areas are commonly knocked out to allow for the installation of oil fill caps, breathers, and PCV valves. Each cover has "Ford 427 3293800" cast on the underside as shown. Some accessories like air conditioning may interfere with installation. Please confirm your specific application.
These valve covers are in good original condition as shown. I see no breaks or repairs to these covers. They are in bare aluminum finish with no paints or coatings and some light staining/aging as shown. The covers have no major corrosion or pitting. The only modification I see is one cover has "The General" very lightly engraved on the flat area below the M/T insignia as shown. This could be sanded and polished out but I think it gives the cover a bit of personality. This is a very nice pair of vintage covers that could be used as is in a survivor type car or will clean up to a high level.
