Our intake will replace metal oil bath air box of 1.7 fuel injected 914The intake features inter cooler-type temperature resistant (2 silicone impregnated Kevlar) elbows with two stainless steel adapters. The elbow fits snugly over the throttle body and expands in diameter as it reaches K&N Filter. Colors of our choice Red, Navy Blue and Black. It is guaranteed for as long as you own your car. The rain tray will have enough clearance to stay closed. All air dependent hoses will be connected to the oil separator and air filter as well as two valve covers. The system will increase your engine\'s response and will prevent polluting your intake valves with oil residue as well as hard driving oil blow-backs. The breather designed to be mounted on the firewall above the engine. Inside the breather you will find metal mesh and the foam pad. Foam pad is designed to stop oil vapor from escaping to your engine\'s compartment. Unlike other oil accumulators now popular with auto enthusiasts, this one designed to return oil back to the engine while you drive, thus functioning just as your original intake.
WARNING: Slapping air filter with pipe over throttle body will not work for 1.7. You must ventilate valve heads as designed. Connecting valve ventilation hoses to the air intake without drained oil accumulator will flood your engine with oil. Not installing proper engine ventilationcould result in engine\'sexplosiondue to the fuel vapor accumulation.
