The Extra-Large Midship Fuel Tank will help you achieve the largest fuel capacity your truck can accommodate. Additional fuel always gives peace of mind when you want or need to put miles and miles behind you. The materials used for the fuel tank manufacturing are the same that the U.S. Military uses in some combat vehicles. High-density cross-linked polyethylene (aka XLHDPE) is a space-age material that provides amazing performance in any weather. What really sets this material apart is its molecular bond: the molecular ‘chains\' making up the polymer are ‘bridged\' to form a stable three-dimensional structure. This allows for impact energy dissipation throughout the chain of molecules. Furthermore, XLHDPE has an impressive range of chemical resistance and outstanding impact strength. As for installation, it takes up to 4 hours or so, depending on your expertise. The tank doesn\'t require any modifications to your stock fuel delivery system to simplify the installation process.
