Removed from a 1973 240z. I personally restored this wheel for my own build, but then decided to go with a smaller diameter, more sporty wheel.

It’s probably not a concourse level restoration, but I was very pleased with the results. I’m a hobbiest and do a decent amount of wood working, so I knew a bit about what to do.

The spokes were sanded down, not all the way to bare metal, but enough to removed the old flaky paint and prepare the surface. The spokes were painted with an epoxy 2K paint by SprayMax in “hot rod” black. It’s a satin finish and looks nice. Not too glossy, not too matte. It’s an extremely durable 2 part paint that will not be affected by rubbing alcohol or even gas. So scrub away when cleaning. In this aspect, it’s a better resto than someone who just repainted with common rustoleum black.

The rim was sanded, then 3 coats of minwax exterior grade polyurethane clear coat were applied, with light sanding between each coat. It feels soft and smooth. Again, not perfect, but pretty good. If you look closely, you’ll find imperfections, but you’d have to go searching. I then applied minwax paste wax to the rim.

Includes horn button assembly, including spring. All you need is the bolt that holds the steering wheel on and a horn pad (both items are available in my other listings if you’re interested)

Definitely good enough for a S30 that gets driven.
