Without Mild 2 Wild (M2W), you must go through multiplescreens on the Driver Information Center to access Engine Sound Management. Butwith M2W you simply push a button on a simple ON/OFF wireless remote to controlyour exhaust sound.
M2W overrides the Camaro\'s exhaust system and allows yourexhaust to be OPEN or CLOSED all the time, regardless of the center console\'sDriving Mode Selector position. The kit comes with two sleek ON/OFF wirelesskey fob sized remotes that will control the exhaust up to 50\' away.
Two easy installation methods are offered: The normalinstallation fits most Gen6 Camaros and ensures zero battery drain with the caralways starting in the open (loud) mode. An alternate installation method isalso provided for some cars (including exports) in which the K6 relay blocksproper insertion of the M2W fuse tap. While this method results in a constantyet very minor battery drain you also gain the ability to start the car inquiet or loud mode. A battery tender is recommended if the vehicle sits idlefor extended periods (weeks) of time.
The M2W comes complete with a professionally engineeredwireless receiver, two miniature remotes (batteries included) and new, easy tofollow printed illustrated instructions. Other vendors require you to download instructions online. This kit fits all 2016 and up Gen6Camaros that are factory equipped with the optional NPP dual mode exhaust system.
Please note that M2W does not work with standard (no valves)exhaust, aftermarket systems, or NPP exhausts that were not originally installed by the GM factory.
