This is an original style Small Block Chevy oil pan and pickup assembly for 1962-1967 Chevy II/Nova applications. This came to me on a 327 engine that was built a long time ago and never started. The pan has been bolted to an engine but has never been on a running engine. I took the engine apart probably 15-20 years ago and put this oil pan in a stack. I recently found it when moving from one shop to another. I can't say for sure if this is an original GM pan or aftermarket but it appears to be high quality. Tspot welded supports on the 4 corner mounting points, two spot welds on each baffle mounting points, 2 holes in the baffle and overall weight of the pan makes me believe this is an original GM piece. While this is not NOS since it has been mounted, it is about as close as you can get. Don't miss this nice Nova V8 pan.
This pan is in very good original condition as shown. There are no major dents, breaks, or repairs. There are a couple light dings that could be removed during the paint process if they bother you. The drain plug threads are in good condition and the drain plug is the large style head as shown. This is a very nice pan that deserves to be put back on an engine.
