Mercedes Lorinser LO Style Replica Wheels From The 80's
This listing is for (4) wheels with (4) complete center caps, (4) locking bolts for caps and (1) key.
1. Original wheels off of 1986 560SECwhich drove with these perfectly fine without any problems.
2.Upon closer examination all four wheels spun 100% straight and true, this was tested on a wheel balancer machine spinning by handto check for structural condition.
3. All four wheels had cosmetic issues and imperfections, chrome was bubbling, peeling, and there were oxidation pits throughout. Wheels were chemically stripped down to bare aluminum to have a better working surface. All four wheels were resurfaced and deep oxidation pits were filled with metal based epoxy as much as possible. In final stage wheels were sand-blasted and powder-coated silver with clear. One wheel has a slightly hazy clear on its face surface but it's not noticeableand nor it was possibleto capture good photos of it with a camera. Not reallynoticeableagainst its silver background but it's there.
4. All four wheels are in their original structural condition, there are no bends,no cracks, and no welds. There are nocurb marks around the edges.
5.These are well made old-school wheels made here in the United States back in the 80's.Center caps are all metal. Original center cap stars are impossibleto find so 4 best condition trunk lid stars were sourced from early w123 and w126 cars to pull this restoration together.
6.Specs on all 4 wheels:
16"x8, 5X112mmand 5x120mmbolt pattern, offset ET11, center bore: 72.6mm.Made in USA.
For snug fitment set of 4 hub centric rings are advised, going from 72.6 to 66.6. They are about $15 for set of 4 here on eBay.
