2005 Ford Mustang GT 1/8 mile Drag Racing timeslip 0-60
(john panizo)
i think you forgot to put what kind of power adder you use,if not you made a miss print because there is no way you ran 118 on the motor.
(MikeM)
BS..........
(MikeM)
Impossible
(Paul)
do you have a copy of the time slip? Usually when the 60', 1/8 mile et, mph all end in zeros, its an estimation, not an actual run at the track.
(c nile)
I think something is wrong here. (were we just dreaming)???
(bull crap)
108 octane whats up with that? Did you mill the heads to up the compression? i call bull as well
(bull crap retracted)
Ok that makes tons more sense. Sorry about the harsh comments, just needed the whole story!
(c nile)
OK, THAT EXPLAINS ALOT.
HAVE FUN AND GOOD RACING.I TOO CAN SCREW UP REAL EASY ON A COMPUTER.
(C NILE)
I do need to ask how you only run a 12.5 in the 1/4 with a 7.57 in the 1/8 did you let off? My car runs 7.5's in the 1/8 but 11.6's in the 1/4. Just curious.
(jeff)
Have not took it to the 1\4 track yet those times are old when i just had bolt on's and nothing done to motor
(Mikem)
Jeff, you are definately not being honest here. You report your 1/4 mile times but say you have not been to the 1/4 mile yet.You slip doesnt match. What the hell dude.Just post what is true, not what you think.
(jeff)
Haven't been to the trask since i got the strocker kit from SHM, the 1\4 time is when i only had bolt on's, 1\8 time is new from lastweekend on may 21 i will have new 1\4 times
(MikeM)
BS dude.118 mph with bolt ons?I run 116 with a 125 shot of nos and all the bolt ons you could have.I hope you ment 108.if not ,You are so lying
(David)
Immokalee is only 1/8th mile track. If you did 1/4 mile you'd be in the fence. Run down airport. this must be an estimate
(Brad)
I have a buddy with an 04 Cobra that actually make 550's at the rear wheels. It runs 7.60's at 99mph on drag radials. For your car to do what you say, it would have to make close to 600 hp at the rear wheels. Actually, the other lane on the timeslip looks about right for your car with street tires = 9.40 @ 80mph.
(Eric Stewart)
You can't get 322 ci from a 4.6 in any way. Doesn't matter how you stroke it or bore it it just can't happen. The biggest stroker kit made for the 4.6 is a 302 ci stroker. Judging by your 60, ET and mph your car would have to have more than 600 rwhp to make up for the crapy 60 ft you had. It isn't possible without a power adder.
(Bob V.)
Sean Hyland Motorsports has a 322 stroker kit for the 4.6 3v
