Please be aware of cheap Chinese versions of this molding on ebay. Please view the photos I have provided. Notice the thickness of ours verses theirs. Notice how much closer our molding replicates factory compared to theirs. Our molding has 3 wide strips of 3m backing. The cheap knock offs only have two strips and the tape is bubbling off.
Our molding also has a permanent protective coating overlaying the chrome. The cheaper versions use a temporary peal off film that is only good for looking shiny when first applied. Our moldings are thicker, heavier and will actually hold up to the weather and protect from scratches. The knock of Trim is so thin, that we bent it in half and held it with a piece of tape. Our molding is too thick and too strong to be held by a piece of tape. If you are restoring a truck, this is a much higher quality, guaranteed or your money back.
