We are the leader in the 3800 Series II engine and have been making and selling these downpipes longer than anyone on the market. Customers have been requesting we do ones for the 5300 engine, so we finally got one in our shop and decided to make and sell them. The stock downpipe is very restrictive. Depending on what you have done to your car it adds up to 15 HP.
This is a complete bolt on. Will bolt to your stock exhaust manifold and connect to your stock catback exhaust system. You'll see others trying to replicate, but there is just no comparison. We run Stainless Interlock Flex Section. Not a cheap flex that frays away.
Front and rear gasket, hanger, and o2 Bung is included on this downpipe. Direct bolt on. No welding needed.
Keep in mind this is a Performance downpipe. This is emissions legal in most states, but California and New York. California has special cats that are required. Check with your local DMV. The catalytic converter included is a EPA Legal high flow 3" that is 48 state legal.
Not just is our downpipe have superior parts than other sellers, but we are also substantially cheaper.
