There is other molding out there, however they are not all the same. The dimensions and materials used are not the same. Most universal moldings, especially the Chinese versions will crack from the bends in the bumper as well as fade over time. Also if the width is too narrow the molding will have curves like a snake when it goes in with the unsteady hand. This molding will have the precise width so that the molding goes in straight. Also GM used a very shallow half round pitch in it\'s design this molding will mimic that a closely as possible. This is a High Quality Molding that will last many years with 3M Backing. All moldings are not the same.
