The date code is L 17 8 which translates to December 17th 1968 casting date making it era correct for all 1969 models. This was used on all 1969 model year Camaros, Chevelles and Impalas. It will need a good cleaning/hot tank and one broken bolt removed from the water neck(it is sticking up 1/2\" so you have material to grab.
