The price is obviously great, and the item showed up fast (two things I needed), but some modifications were needed to make fit. Some of the studs did not line up for the heat shields and needed persuaded with a hammer and a couple of welds on the plate that bolts to the head where in the way of the bolts and wouldn't seat until I filed them down flush (not on the head side - that was smooth). The material was solid and seemed well made otherwise and overall fit properly and came with all parts shown. The doughnut gasket that goes between the new converter and exhaust pipe was not a tight fit and seemed to leak a bit. I bought one from a local auto place that fit better and fixed that issue. The bolts/springs that connect the bottom of the converter to the exhaust pipe are a little ... Good catalytic for the $$$! So far...
Catalytic went on a 05 nissan altima 2.5, 4 cylinder, these cars are famous for the cracking of the catalytic/exhaust manifold! Replaced the manifold with this one...didn't justify spending $400+ on a name brand manifold on 10+ yr old 100k mile car... Just don't expect it to be a perfect fit for $93.. OEM heat shields won't line up/bolt up with this part..all but one small one at the bottom front. Also the lower support bracket won't line up as well..maybe they can be modded/hacked extensively to bolt up but I didn't do that.. Possibly this manifold was designed more for the older 2.5 engine on 02-04 model...but they are nearly identical just the placement of the bank 2 o2 sensor All and all it did work out...soo far!Catalytic went on a 05 nissan altima 2.5, 4 cylinder, these cars are famous for the cracking of the catalytic/exhaust manifold! The quality of this item for the price can't be beat! The flange was thicker than the stock one and the welds were very nice. The heat shield holes were all there, but the shield itself would have needed modification to go back on. I just left it off. Overall I would definitely recommend!
