    Perfect fit and great performance

    This shifter repair kit came with all the parts and gaskets necessary to repair the transmission shifter slack and leaky boot. Installing this kit was easy and made a tremendous improvement in the feel of the stick shift.

    Crappy Rubber

    It’s a good thing I kept the 25 year old original rubber boot because this new one split as soon as the metal retaining ring popped into its groove. Apparently old rubber is better. All other parts seem to be good enough but I can’t recommend it because of how easily the rubber split. If you don’t need the rubber it’s a not a bad deal.

    ZF 5speed shifter repair kit

    I was pleased with the product. all the parts needed as shown were in good shape and fit my vehicle properly, i.e. 1988 F-superduty. Gaskets were flat in packaging, which is an issue at times when receiving products through the mail.
