Wittingly named Horseforce, the Widebody Mustang was created by an automotive graphics design firm known as Tredwear. They can put anything you want on the sidewall of your favorite tire. Tredwear created the insane widebody design of Horseforce then applied the hockey stripes and matching patina. Between the sheet metal and the asphalt is a Lincoln Mark VIII chassis, complete with running gear. While the car appears crusty and nostalgic up top, it is slightly less so underneath.
The Mark VIII engine remains intact, although it has been upgraded with a Cobra Jet intake manifold. Other mods include custom exhaust side pipes and tuning. The transmission is stock, but the rear end has been upgraded with a 3.23 unit from a Thunderbird Super Coupe.
The wheels are from American Racing and the tires – of course – are custom designed by Tredwear for Horseforce.
In a post apocalyptical landscape, Horseforce seems perfectly suited for hitting the open road in search of villains. Even better for an evening of hijinks on your local street. Maybe a supercharger? Just thinking out loud.
