Tonight’s action kicks-off with multiple hits between a twin turbo Cadillac CTS-V and a Whipple supercharged Ford Mustang GT. The Caddy has been upgraded with an engine swap and a twin turbo setup. Digging hard under the hood is a 7.0-liter LSX motor. That’s an all-aluminum (block and heads) V8 with a dry sump lubrication setup. The turbochargers are Precision 6266 with a fat intercooler and all the bells and whistles. The Mustang is outfitted with a Whipple blower on top of a 5.0-liter V8. This should be a wild series of races.
Next, we have a C6 Corvette Z06 with a 434 cubic-inch LSX motor and (at least) a kit of nitrous. He’ll be rolling against another C6 Corvette. This one is loaded with a 7.0-liter V8 and a ProCharger F1A. These are a pair of very capable Corvettes and a demonstration of the classic battle between boosted and nitrous. Spoiler alert: Boosted FTW.
A second Cadillac CTS-V sedan makes the scene for the next race. This one is upgraded with high-performance cylinder heads and a loping thumpstick (camshaft). It’s also got nitrous. He will be running against a twin turbo C6 Corvette Z06.
Keep watching until the end for more roll racing fury.
