Street Hits – Nitrous C6 Corvette vs. Blown Camaro ZL1

It’s street racing excellence when a pair of Chevrolets jump out on the interstate in old Mexico. Both these cars look good – and sound better – as they have each been modified to improve performance. Let’s get a closer look at these chariots while the gladiators are talking smack.

Rolling out in the left lane, the Camaro ZL1 features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that can make 650hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. In stock trim, the ZL1 version of the Camaro can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5-seconds. The Camaro seen in this video has been enhanced with blower/crankshaft pulleys, an E50 tune and a full accoutrement of aftermarket bolt-ons. Sounds real fast.

The C6 (2005-2013) Chevrolet Corvette is loaded with a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine. Featured in this video is a C6 that has been outfitted with at least one kit of nitrous and a performance camshaft. This Chevy is also tuned to burn E85. A full assortment of bolt-on hot rod goodies complete the package.

This should be a sweet piece of Chevy-on-Chevy roll racing action.
