Street Hits – Mustang vs Jeep Trackhawk

Our man Frank is at it again. This time he’s bringing us a contest between a Mustang GT and a Jeep Trackhawk SUV. These competitors are hungry for a win and ready to let it all hang out on the streets (of Mexico).

The Ford Mustang GT is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 motor mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. In stock condition, the GT is capable of producing 460hp and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0-seconds flat. The Mustang featured in this video has been upgraded with a set of exhaust headers, a cold air intake and an E85 performance tune.

A beast of an SUV, the Trackhawk utilizes a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 to make q whopping 707hp. Despite being a skosh on the heavy side (5,363-pounds), the Jeep can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph on only 3.5-seconds. This Jeep has been modified with a set of performance pulleys (blower and crankshaft), a catalytic converter delete kit and an E85 tune. The Jeep is all-wheel drive.

Let’s get back with Frank as he gets these two ready to hit the street.
