Under the hood is a 6.1-liter HEMI engine with a pair of 62-millimeter Precision turbochargers. Assembled by master fabricator Jeff Lutz (Street Outlaws), Dentley is equipped with a state-of-the-art intercooler setup and all the best parts imaginable. The transmission is a TCI TH400 automatic with a trans brake and a gear bender. Out back is a Quarter Max four link setup wrapped around a Moser (Ford) 9-inch rear end with 4.10:1 final drive gears. Maximum output (on racing fuel) is projected to be 1,000 to 1,200whp.
As you might expect from a top tier drag racer, the wheels are Weld Delta-1. These are considered the lightest and strongest wheels in racing. They are wrapped in Mickey Thompson rubber.
The interior has been left basically stock with the exception of a full roll cage, safety harnesses and four racing seats. That’s right – this is a crew cab.
Designed to operate on street or strip, Dentley has a full exhaust system, air conditioning and power windows.
We can’t wait to see this truck take on Drag Week.
