Insane Street Race in Mexico – Turbo 2JZ Colorado vs. Hot Honda Hatch

It’s about to get crazy on the streets of Mexico as these two insane machines meet on the interstate. Both these rides are purpose-built for roll racing. Serious money has been spent on making these vehicles go as fast as possible. Now, it’s time to see who made the best investment. Looks a lot like all or nothing on the streets tonight.

In the right lane is the Chevrolet Colorado midsize pickup. It has been engine swapped to a 2JZ 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder Toyota motor. A turbocharger has also been added. This Colorado is making serious power. It has a 2-speed Powerglide and all-wheel drive. With all that carbon-fiber, the Honda Hatch looks like a serious race car but this Colorado ain’t just whistling Dixie.

On the left is the aforementioned Hot Honda Hatch. As you can see, the front end is all carbon. Under the hood of this front-wheel drive booger-bear is a turbocharged K24 four-cylinder Honda mill with a massive turbocharger. With all the interior stripped out, this hatchback looks fast. Looks ain’t deceiving.

Traffic is average and the interstate is dry as these two competitors roll out into the dark night. If there was ever a time for talk; that time has ended. It’s time to race!
