Enyo is a custom chassis. What is left of the original body has been chopped, contorted and retrofitted into the shape you see today. The new parts are made primarily of carbon-fiber and aluminum. One can’t help but notice the horizontal suspension setup. To say the cantilever suspension configuration, by Ahlman Engineering/Roadster Shop, is innovative would be a gross understatement. Like an Formula One car, Enyo is equipped with integrated air jacks on front and rear.
The massive brakes are Brembo GTS M6 (six piston calipers) with cross-drilled and vented rotors – air cooled on all four corners.
In typical F1 fashion, the wheels and tires are front and center in this build. Those are HRE centerlock wheels (13×18 front and 15×18 rear) wrapped in Goodyear Racing Eagle G-19 rubber.
What’s under the hood, you ask? How about a tall deck Godwin Competition Racing engine with 510 cubic inches. The massive mill is topped with Kinsler stacks. Exhaust gases flow through a set of custom stainless-steel headers, Flowmaster mufflers and Ringbrothers titanium side pipes. This combination is good for 1,000hp on racing fuel.
Shifting duties are left to a Bowler Performance 4L80E automatic transaxle in a torque tube format.
