Her name is Sophie and under her hood is a Texas Speed built 408 cubic-inch stroker V8 with a pair of Turbonetics 6566 turbochargers. Features for Emelia’s daily driver will include power steering – with a hydraboost brake setup – and cold air conditioning. Fuel delivery is left a Holley Dominator setup, including the fuel pump. The transmission is a Tremec T-56 6-speed manual and the rear end is a Ford 9-inch.
Moving underneath, we have Detroit Speed components throughout. In the front, there is a Detroit Speed Hydroformed subframe with tubular control arms and 2-way adjustable coilover shocks. Out back, we have a Detroit Speed Quadra Link rear suspension setup with Detroit Speed subframe connectors and 2-way adjustable coilover shocks (with remote reservoirs).
Stopping this beast are 4-wheel disc brakes – cross-drilled and ventilated – from Baer. These rotors are huge, and they look stunning inside the custom wheels from Forgeline.
Emelia just has a few kinks to work out before she can take Sophie on her maiden voyage. Shall we lend her a hand?
