Brand-New 1500HP Chevrolet Yenko Camaro Stage III Unboxing

June 25th, 2024

Attention gearheads; let me introduce you to Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). These guys have been building specialty vehicles for GM for more than thirty-years. As the leading supplier of GM specialty vehicles, SVE has produced more than 65,000 cars, trucks and SUVs. They are in production on the current generation of Yenko supercars. That’s what we are here to talk about, today.

Specifically, the 2024 Chevrolet Yenko/SC Camaro Stage III. Offered in three distinctive packages (Stage I, Stage II or Stage III), the Yenko/SC is based off the Camaro SS 1LE format. In addition to the powerful supercharged engine, the Yenko/SC package incorporates features like magnetic ride control, electronic limited-slip differential, performance-tuned suspension with poly bushings, heavy springs and heavy stabilizer bars. Drivetrain enhancements include heavy-duty engine oil cooling, dual outboard radiators, heavy-duty transmission cooler and a rear differential cooler. There are also additional aerodynamic and handling nuances added to the exterior shell.

The interior features Recaro racing seats, sophisticated instrumentation and a competition steering wheel.

Oh yes, the engine. The Stage III package boasts a blueprinted all-aluminum 7.0-liter LS engine with a computer balanced rotating assembly. Premium components include a 4340-steel crankshaft, forged pro-series I-beam connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons. The cylinder heads are CNC ported and built with premium springs and valves. The supercharger is CNC ported and setup with a 10-groove belt drive and a larger throttle body. The fuel injectors and fuel pumps are upgraded and there’s a custom stainless-steel exhaust. The transmission is a 6-speed dual-clutch manual.

This thing is a 1500hp beast and possibly the most capable production car ever built.
