880WHP Jeep Trackhawk vs. Tesla Plaid Model X – Street Digs

July 12th, 2023

Big man Frank is at it again. He has an endless thirst for street racing, and it continues to pay dividends. This time he found a drag race between a modified Jeep Trackhawk and a stock Tesla Plaid Model X. This will be a standing drag race from 0 to 100 mph. The Tesla is getting charged up and the Jeep is doing burnouts. We join the action already in progress.

The Jeep Trackhawk is the baddest SUV on the planet – hands down. Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8, this thing is capable of producing 707hp in stock trim. While it is a heavy pig, it also has an all-wheel drivetrain. Featured in this video is a Trackhawk modified with a ported blower, a supercharger pulley upgrade and catless exhaust. She’s also tuned to burn E85 fuel. Should be a real beast.

Wearing white is the all-wheel drive Tesla Plaid Model X SUV. Not a golf cart, the Model X in Plaid utilizes a trio of electric motors to generate the equivalent of 1,020hp. Car and Driver Magazine claims that the Model X Plaid can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a jaw-dropping 2.1-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 9.83-seconds @ 146.68 mph. Definitely not a golf cart – but how will it fare against the onslaught of the mighty Trackhawk?
