Getting back to the streets (of Mexico), we encounter a raucous band of roll racers making ready to rumble. Here we have an eclectic mix of import and domestic vehicles fueled-up and tuned for the throwdown. Enjoy the action.

The first contest of the evening is between a pair of modified street stallions.

In the right lane is the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. That blue and silver badge is unmistakable. The ZR1 moniker represents pure performance. This C6 version features an implanted 7.0-liter LS V8 with upgraded cylinder heads and a high-performance thump stick (camshaft). The ported blower is a Magnuson 2650. This Chevy is making big power.

On the left is the Nissan GT-R. Affectionately known as “Godzilla”, this monster offers an all-wheel drive platform with a powerful twin turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine. Modifications to this car include upgraded turbochargers and a fortified transmission overhaul.

It has been said that there is no substitute for cubic inches. We are about to see if that holds true. Prepare yourself for multiple hits and even some 3-wide action.

Next, the Corvette takes on a Midnight Blue Mustang. The blue pony car is a Ford Mustang 5.0 (V8) modified with a twin turbo kit. The transmission is a 6R80 automatic.
