Additional Information

  • This car had very little modifications done to it, and goes to show the potential of this chassis. The exhaust was custom built by Mufflex of Trenton, NJ. Their phone number is (609)890-0481. The cat-back exhaust was made entirely of 2.5" aluminized steel. The muffler was a Flowmaster Delta Flow that we made into a dual-out. Each out held a 4" Meg's rolled tip. It was big, loud, and scary. The intake was a 3" mandrel bent aluminized steel pipe that started at the throttle body and continued down to the ground, behind the radiator. The pipe was fitted with a K&N cone filter of no special size. The car was also equipped with Eibach Pro-kit springs. That's it!!!!! I had a few different mufflers on this car, but the Flowmaster was by far the best. One of the worst mufflers was a straight through design similar to a typical HKS muffler for a turbo car. Feel free to email me with any questions regarding this car. Since running this best time of 14.9 the car has been sold. Even though the car is no longer with me, I would still like to see the Cavalier platform excell in the Sportcompact market, and would like to possibly help others get their cars "in shape".
