Mahindra XUV500 top speed
Please note - video taken on the Mumbai - Pune expressway at a time when there was hardly any traffic. We, Bunny Punia (driving) and Bobby Roy (shooting) did take the Mahindra XUV500 to near its top speed but also made sure we did it on a relatively empty stretch. The Mahindra XUV500 on the BIC F1 track by Gaadi.com.wmv
Gaadi.com takes a spin around the BIC (Buddh International Circuit) F1 track again, this time on the Mahindra XUV500.
This is a long video, runs in 20+ mins with 6-7 laps.
Don't expect pure racing lines as this was his (Bunny Punia) second stint on this F1 track :D. Nevertheless he managed to overtake half a dozen XUVs ;)
Enjoy the video, shot by Bobby Roy.
PS: The XUV500 indeed has the muscle to be on a F1 track. And the ESP rocks!
2004 GMC Envoy XUV
Hello and thanks for looking at our auction! Up for your consideration is this beautiful one owner trade Envoy XUV. This is a rare model. I searched online to see just how rare it was and found that there were approximately 25,000 of them made. That may sound like a lot to some, but in the scope of things, it's not! This was a one owner local trade in that is in PERFECT condition. One tiny rock chip on the front end that has been touched up. Tires are at 80% all around. Brakes are tight, alignment is perfect, tires are balanced , AC blows cold and the heat comes out hot! Every option works as it should. As seen in the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON1cas1jmM4) it looks, runs and drives great! You can bid with confidence. You could fly in and drive it 1500 miles to your home with no glitches. The back in seals up tight to you can wash it out in the event you get it really dirty hauling stuff. When winter comes, rest assure that you have your four wheel drive to assist you as you make your way though town. All around this is a great vehicle. Don't let it slip away! 2012 Mahindra XUV500 ANCAP Frontal Offset
Overall Evaluation: 4 Stars
Model History and Safety Features
The tested model of the XUV500 was introduced in Australia during 2012. This ANCAP rating applies to the all-wheel-drive variant. Dual front airbags, side airbags and head-protecting side curtains are standard equipment. Antilock brakes (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD) and electronic stability control (ESC) are also standard.
4 stars. The XUV500 scored 10 out of 16 in the offset crash test. The passenger compartment lost structural integrity. Protection from serious leg injury was poor for the driver due to excessive rearward movement of the brake pedal. The vehicle scored a default score of 16 out of 16 in the side impact crash test. Frontal Offset Crash Test Body region scores out of 4 points each: Head/neck 3 pts, chest 3 pts, upper legs 4 pts, lower legs zero pts. The passenger compartment held its shape reasonably well in the offset crash test however the structure supporting the trans-fascia tube had partially separated from the A-pillar resulting in a structural modifier. The brake pedal moved rearwards by 258 mm and upwards 135 mm. The steering wheel hub moved 45 mm rearward, 135 mm upward and 8 mm sideways. The A-pillar moved 18 mm rearwards. The tailgate opened during the crash but Mahindra demonstrated that a software upgrade would eliminate this problem and so no modifier was applied. After the crash the driver's door could be opened with high manual effort. Contact with the driveshaft appears to have caused a rupture in the fuel line. The Exhaust pipe contacted the fuel tank but did not cause a puncture. The airbag cushioned the head of the driver and contact was stable. The passenger's head was cushioned by the airbag. There was concern about driver knee hazards but the components were just outside the assessment zone and so no modifiers were applied.
