95-99 Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler Neon Instrument Cluster Repair
Solder repair for 95-99 neon clusters. This fixes the jumping needles, non working needles, warning lamps that come on and off, etc.

2003 Jetta GLI Evaporator and Heater Coil Replacement
A quick recap of a Saturday afternoon project on my 2003 Jetta. We traced a leak to the evaporator core and decided to replace it as well as the heater coil. This AC system had been broken for almost 2 years. We ran out of mini DV tape so the video ends before its all back together but you can at least see what is involved with taking out the AC box.
Lots of steps were omitted from the video due to time. Some of those things were; draining the ac system, draining the coolant lines, disconnecting hoses, unbolting the box from the firewall, replacing the dryer in the engine compartment, recharging the system, etc.
My brother is the one doing all the work. He is a natural mechanic who has been working on cars for over 30 years and owns a small mobile repair business. This is his first Volkswagen AC repair so it was a learning curve. Next time we're confident we can easily cut the time in half to do this job. We started at 8:00am and after a few setbacks we were done by 6:00pm. Now that we know what to do we could probably knock this job out in 5 hours.
