The 2011 Aveo lineup includes the sedan and Aveo5, a sporty five-door hatchback. The American auto maker revealed that it will power all the Sonic models with efficient, power-dense, small-displacement engines, including the Ecotec 1.4 liter turbo and the Ecotec 1.8 liter, that are now also seen on the new Chevrolet Cruze. The company said that with the 1.8 liter engine, three transmissions that include a five-speed manual and six-speed automatic are available, while only a six-speed manual transmission is available with the 1.4 liter turbo engine.

A hotter Chevrolet Sonic is about to sound off -- the 2013 Sonic RS. It goes on sale in late 2012. All-New Chevrolet Orlando [HD]
The Chevrolet Orlando is a five-door, seven-seat compact MPV which will be manufactured by General Motors under the Chevrolet division for world-wide markets It was introduced as a concept vehicle at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. In August 2009, at its extended product review, GM previewed the production-spec Orlando and confirmed its production.
GM has shown a concept version of the GMC Granite small MPV, reportedly similar to the Orlando.
