1969 Camaro RS/SS First Start up in 28 Years
Work on getting my dads new project car, a 69 Camaro started after sitting for 28 years untouched and uncovered in an Anchorage, Alaska back yard. It was originally a big block/4speed car but was swapped to a 327 in the early 80's. The engine was covered in leafs, moss and debris and had no air cleaner, headers or half the spark plugs when we got it. The car has been parked since 1984, watch to see if we get it going! Don't pay any attention to the Z28 badges someone added those long ago and it was originally Daytona Yellow not white. More details coming soon....
PRO STREET AMC EAGLE SX4 * INSANE WHEELIE * HOLY SH*T WHEELSTANDER * 9.78@137MPH * "FREAKINEAGLE"
Awesome wheelstand at Richmond Dragway. '81 AMC Eagle SX-4. Stock bore 454 with tunnel ram with 2-4's. This weekend it ran 6.16 @ 112 in 1/8th and 9.78 @ 137 in 1/4!! All motor! No juice, blower,or turbo charger, just Big Block Chevy power. The next run the FreakinEagle stood straight up on the back bumper and almost flipped backwards. Our day was done. What a show. The Dragway told us not to come back until we had whleeie Bars! Ha, Ha.! Most people think it is a Pinto on steroids. The short time (60' time) is less than 1.39. Not too shabby for a stock leaf spring with SSM slapper bars and a stock Nova 12-bolt rear with 4.10 gears! Hard to beat that "bullet proof" Genuine GM LS-7 Big Block Power! Basically a stock GM LS-7 BBC Engine with cam and 2-4's. "NUFF SAID"! HOTROD. No, that is not a photo shopped picture. People just do not care for AMC Cars. Go figure. I guess it is because it has an awesome GM motor in it. Well how many AMC's do you see drive into the Dragstrip and run a 9,78 @ 137 mph???????????????????????????????????????????? Well By God this one did and it is still sitting in my driveway.
