Supercharged 1966 Chevelle Pro-Street 462 Big-block Beast
I thought you'd like a look at this awesome Supercharged Pro-Street 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. It's packing a 462 CID V8 engine that was built with a steel crank, hydraulic roller cam and lifters, roller rockers, ARP bolts in the mains, rods, heads, and rocker arm studs. Sitting on top of all of that is a BDS Racing 8-71 blower and two Quickfuel Technologies carburetors to squeeze every bit of power out of the engine, and with only 300 miles since it was rebuilt, it's not even broken in yet! Don't look for a flimsy fiberglass hood to cover all of this horsepower - it has a steel hood that has been modified to fit around the blower. All of this is hooked up to a TCI 700R4 transmission with a 3500 stall, and a 9" rear end with 4.11 gears. This car needs nothing! It is set up to hop in the driver's seat, turn the key, and head down the road. Other features of this car include a B & M shifter, "Chevrolet" valve covers that are painted Chevy Orange, Afco Racing radiator, chrome master cylinder, chrome alternator, tilt steering wheel, Weld wheels, and radial tires. 800hp 66' Chevelle Dragster Startup
This car is being built for pro street drags at the Portland International Raceway. The only origional parts on this car is the rear 3/4 of the body and the front 3/4 of the chassis. motor is a 498 cu in Somers Racing motor built by Archie Summers in Vancouver Wa. Ford 9 inch, Art Morrison 4 link and Lemon Racing headers from Cali. The smoke that you see coming from the engine bay is the paint burning off of the headers.i have been helping my friend with this car for 2 year and its almost done. will post more videos when completed.

This is one exceptional 1966 Chevelle SS 4 Speed
This is a true 138 car which means it came out of the factory as an SS.
The motor in the car is not the one that came in it when it was built it is a 454 that is fresh like new.
