Finally brought her in for Dyno tuning. I just wanted a conservative tune that was safe across all RPM ranges. A few months later I found out the fuel pump filter was clogged up. When the filter was changed, the tune from this Dyno session ended up being way too rich. So I think another 20 whp would be easy to get out of the car without any other changes. BTW the greddy turbo doesn't flow enough air for the engine (this turbo kit was designed for 6 psi Boost, and I'm running it almost twice that). Assuming there is a 15-20% drivetrain loss on the rx-8, that puts me at 312 - 326 hp with a very conservative tune with that clogged fuel pump. Car is running with standard 93 gas. s14 HKS Hi Power exhaust clip
This is a video clip of my 1995 Nissan 240sx HKS Hi Power catback Exhaust. The engine is a stock ka24de in my s14 chassis.
My RX-8 0 - 200 kph in 28 sec. on 1km! (stock,manual,231HP)
Szevasztok Magyarok! By this vid I finally fixed the camera. Outside temperature 14 degrees (Celsius), wind 0km/h, little bit downhill (less than 3 percent (nothing), max. 90 meter long). From 0 to 109 mph on 3/8 mile (600m) in 19.4 sec and 0 to 125 mph on 5/8 mile (1030m) in 28.1 sec! And 0-213 kph (133 mph) in 34.0 sec! WOW!! But please watch other videos from me too :-)
