Will it die? Ford Taurus log part 1
I've been going to school for Automechanics, so I've decided to start this video series.
Basically, I have a somewhat beat up '96 Ford Taurus. A lot of people say Tauruses suck. Even I said it when I first had this. But after I started taking care of it, it didn't have frequent problems like when I first bought it.
It's got over 114,000 miles on it right now. I want to see if it will last until I get out of school, and can secure myself a good job somewhere as an Entry Level Technician.
Along the way, I'll make more videos to show you how to do some basic maintenence on your car as well as show how some repairs are done (though, hopefully I won't need to do too many repairs).
In my next video, I'll show you how the side of my car is beat up, and the strange noise the drivers window makes due to the damage on the door.

Junkyard Find: 1991 Ford Taurus GL
PLEASE READ: I'm trying out a new series of videos of various cars in the junkyard, PLEASE PLEASE comment and give me your opinion of the idea, whether I should keep doing it or not. I took several videos today so I'm going to let them run their course and see how it works out but I want your input too!
Tour video of a 1991 Ford Taurus I found in a junkyard. Due to rust and transmission issues these have been disappearing from Michigan roads at a rapid rate. This one while far from show quality, isn't too bad.
If you're interested in parts off this car, DO NOT CONTACT ME, contact or go to the yard:

Magnificent Machines - The Golden Age of the British Sports Car
Broadcast by the BBC in 2012, showcasing some superb cars via period and modern footage, this is a brilliant programme. Grab a cuppa, sit back and enjoy. Well done to all those involved in this episode.
Timeshift sets its rear view mirror to look back at the golden age of the British sports car. It's the story of how - in the grey austerity of the post-war years - iconic marques like Jaguar, Austin-Healey, MG and Triumph sparked a manufacturing frenzy that helped to democratise speed and glamour.
From the MG Midget, much loved by American GIs, through to the more affordable Austin Healey 'frog-eye' Sprite, and the E-Type Jaguar, seen by many as the ultimate sports car, this is a tale of how, for a brief time, Britain was home to two-seater heaven.
Narrated by Tamsin Greig and featuring contributions from Stirling Moss and Quentin Willson.

This would have cost me between $1200-$1600 as a local shop. depending on where i took it.
i did this job my self for just over $200 including the fallowing:
head gasket kit
new head bolts
new coolant reservoir
new coolant
new spark plugs
RTV Black sealant
Quick set epoxy
and some coolant system flush.
for me it was better than buying a new car...
lets hope it lasts...
God bless and have fun!

Junkyard Trip For Electric Fans
Come along as we adventure through the junkyard to see what kind of cars we will come across today. I say Tracer several times, my bad. I meant Tracker. Also, don't ask. I'm not saying where this junkyard is yet.
