My tape player hasn't worked in a while and I want to be able to hook up my old iPod Shuffle via tape deck adapter again, so i got a junkyard ICP (Integrated Control Panel, which is Ford's name for it because it includes sound system and HVAC controls, most people call it a Head Unit).
I'm going to show you how to replace it. It's quite easy and swapping a stock unit with another stock unit is simply plug and play. Hopefully, the tape player in this one will work.
Edit: RCU actually stands for "Rear Chassis Unit", not "Radio Control Unit" (although it is part of the audio system).

Replacing 99 Ford Taurus Ball Joint Detailed How-To DIY
A detailed video on how to go about removing and replacing a worn out ball joint on a 1999 Taurus. Procedure is similar for other years and models like Sable etc.

My cars sound system
1999 Ford Taurus 4-door sedan. Cheap old sound system. It did have an old Pioneer GM-X252 amplifier kicking 2 old Radio Shack 8 inch CSW-800 subs in a sealed box with a divider seperating the 2 sub chambers wired as normal. Also it had 2 Aiwa bookshelf speakers with round ports at the bottom of them in the rear corners of the trunk. Running a standard Ford HU with an MP3 player. This is by far the ugliest system in the world but it worked great.
