Honda Accord AEM V2 Cold Air Intake Installation
2002 HONDA ACCORD SPECIAL EDITION
2.3L, 4 Cylinder v-tec
Series F23A1 Engine
I'm no professional at this. I'm still very new and learning more about the
import tuner world.
I've never done an intake installation before and this one is my first.
Please don't over judge me too harshly.
The video was more for me on how to install it, but I thought I would share
this with everyone.
Enjoy the video!
Honda Accord VTEC Solenoid Gaskets Replacement
In this video I show you how to replace both VTEC solenoid valve gaskets
(valve to cylinder head and solenoid to valve) on 1994-1997 Accords.
This is a common cause of oil leaks on the upper passenger side of the
engine next to the distributor shaft seal, distributor o ring, and valve
It seems the same engineers who buried the Accords fuel filter also decided
to make the VTEC solenoid valve difficult to remove as well. One of the
bolts for the valve is buried so deep you have to partially drain the
cooling system and use a u-joint to get it out.
I take your through the process step by step from removal of all the parts
to re installation.
This video ran a bit longer than I wanted it to but considering how
deceptively easy this job looks at first glance (until you can't get that
one remaining hidden bolt on the valve off to remove it) I decided to leave
in as much detail as possible.
You will need to add new coolant and bleed the cooling system to avoid
engine damage after you're done. If you need that info here is the link to
my cooling system bleeding video.
Honda part numbers used in the video:
Solenoid to valve gasket: 36172-P0A-005
VTEC valve to cylinder head gasket: 15825-P0A-015
VTEC oil pressure switch o-ring: 91319-PR3-003
Thermostat housing to intake gasket: 91312-P0A-000
Thermostat housing to connecting pipe o-ring: 91314-PH7-003
These part numbers should work on all 1994-1997 Accords with VTEC but as
always check with your dealer to confirm these part numbers will work with

2002 Honda Accord EX Coupe 2.3L VTEC Quick Test Drive & 0-60 @ 3/4 Throttle
2002 Honda Accord EX Coupe
This coupe has the 2.3L VTEC 4 Cyl making 150 HP while paired to a 4 speed
The road manors of this generation Accord is very good. Interior is
comfortable & for what it was during its day, the interior quality was ( IS
) decent. Heck, maybe a bit better than the 2008 Accord But a Hell of a
lot better than a 2007+ Camry.
The only issue I have here is the 4 Speed auto which can be annoying.

wire up my ECU switch in time to get any high Boost runs on video. Sorry guys! I'll make
plenty of high-Boost videos when I
come home, so subscribe!

Replacing an Accord Wheel Bearing - EricTheCarGuy
Replacing an Accord Wheel Bearing
Ok, here it is finally. A few of you have requested this procedure so here
it is. As I said in the video I normally use a different method of
removing the hub from the bearing assembly by using a slide hammer. I also
normally use a press to reinstall the hub into the new bearing instead of
hitting it with a hammer. Life is not perfect and we sometimes have to
improvise as I did here. I know a few of you will ask about the size
fasteners that I used to hammer the bearing out, I used hardened (8.8)
10x1.25 bolts to do the job. I also promised links to the other videos
that relate to this one so here they are.

2002 Honda Accord EX V6 Start Up & Rev - 98K
2002 Honda Accord EX
This 1 has a 3.0L V6 good for 200 HP while paired to a 4 Speed auto.
Not a bad car at all for its day and they were well equipped then. Even
though it still was running off the styling & overall tech of a 1998
Accord, it still was a better car than the Newly designed 2002 Toyota Camry
which was the start of the Camry's disposable car status.
P2646 Honda Accord ,VTC strainer
P2646 Honda Accord ,VTC strainer. This Honda would not run at higher
speeds. It would start bucking and stall out if held to the floor. After a
bit of cleaning it seems to run fine. Do not try just removing the screens.
If you try to run a Honda with out the VTC strainer any dirt that the
screen would of caught will now go in to the little oil passages and be
hard to remove. I am also Leary of trying to add cleaners to the engine
when experiencing VTC Strainer problems. If the debris stuck in the VTC
Strainer bad enough to set a P2646 code then I would be afraid the debris
would break down smaller ,get through the VTC strainer just to get caught
up in the valve train oil passages.
1998 Honda Accord V6 With Open Headers
