The replacement is scheduled at 100,000 Miles. Mine didn't happen at 100K because the dealership decided to not do the task. At least they did not charge for the work not performed.
For being 110,445-Mile Spark Plugs, mine were in decent shape. I suppose no harm, no foul ;^)

2006 Ford Escape XLS - Accessory Drive Repair
Replacing the Serpentine Belt, Tensioner & Idler Pulleys on a 2006 Ford Escape XLS 2.3L I4 w/5-Speed Manual Transmission and A/C installed.
The Symptom was Drive Belt Noise.
Troubleshot by removing Old Drive Belt to check all Accessory Pulleys. Found Idler Pulley with a little too much Play and the Tensioner spring seemed a bit weak.
Dealership Estimate: $412 (TAX Included)
My Own Hands: $132 (TAX & S/H Included)

Finding a bad coil on a 02 Ford Escape... Part 1
I hesitated to post this video as some of the information I have on current ramping coils said that the slope effect I pointed out in the video is normal and no cause for concern. This was the only inconsistency I saw in the coils along with the no. 5 coil drawing slightly more current. I was going to redo the video, looking for any other problems with this coil, how ever the bad coil has gotten worse and won't fire at all now. So I would say the sloping is a sign of a weak coil about to fail.
2001 Ford Escape - Engine running rough on cold start
When starting the engine cold, it will run very rough like this and if let set it will stall completely. After driving around it still runs rough, but not this bad. Any ideas on what the issue could be? Note that I didn't press on the gas at all after starting the car. All I did was start it.

Removing the alternator in my ford escape is one of those, what in the world were they thinking kind of repairs, I am very disappointed with Ford for making what is normally an easy job, into a job from hell, arm cuts, headache, cussing kind of job, indeed, what were they thinking? it is like it was done on purpose to cause you to give up and go to ford, but I found a way out of this chaos, and I hope you will too by trying this method.
