Z28 Camaro vs Twin Turbo Mustang GT
auto vs auto in car and out Camaro - LS2 with a cam. LS6 heads, Minor headwork. All motor. Mickey thompson Drag radials on back Mustang GT - Twin turbo/bult block on a street tune making 650 horse. Hoosier slicks on back 1st race: about even, Camaro clicked neutral manual shifting the auto but I was told Mustang puts a car on the Camaro. 2nd race: Mustang edged out Camaro by a good car or two 3rd race: Camaro beats out Mustang, but barely. ALL RACES WERE RAN TO ABOUT 130 in the Camaro, so definitely ran a 1/4. YES BOTH CARS GO 10's. No half mile roll racing non sense. Just 1/4 mile dig races.

Camaro SS vs Turbo Civic
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE COMMENTING! THANKS! ▼Click "Show More"▼ This video was shot early on in 2008. Yes, he's a friend of mine. The acting (if you can call it that) is us just messing around before battery on the camera died. It was all done on the spot - no script - and the racing was both cars going all out 100%. The Camaro has been 11.5's@122. Not the fastest car on the road (by far), but enough to hold it's own with most local cars. For those in complete & utter denial - doubting that the Civic was actually turbo'd - here is the same car with a duck call attached to the blow-off valve as a joke: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykRIp2GtYoA Enjoy!! =)

Z28 slicks launch
Another short video of me playing. I was trying to launch the car on the street with slicks on. Didn't work out so well. As you can see I couldn't even start to load the convertor without spinning the tires.

1991 Supercharged 383 TPI Camaro Z28
This is my 1991 Z28 Camaro. I am running an Eagle bottom end (5.7" H-beam rods) with forged JE pistons. The block is a 1976 4-bolt main block with ARP bolts. That is good for 383 cubic inches. The compression ratio is around 8.2:1. It has a custom ground Lunati flat tappet camshaft, Crane full-roller aluminum rocker arms, and Comp Cam lifters and springs. The heads have mild port work done. The TPI induction is stock except for a TPIS air foil. It has Hooker long tube headers (#2210) and 4" single Mufflex Exhaust to a Spintech muffler with 3" duals out and a Flowmaster merge y-pipe. The blower is a Vortech S-trim with a 2.87" pulley, good for about 12-14 psi at 5500 rpm depending on conditions. The car has not been fully tuned yet with the stock computer. It is running 30 lbs injectors with a 4:1 Vortech fuel pressure regulator (yes, I know). It has a shift-kitted 700-R4 with a 3000rpm stall TCI torque convertor. The rearend is a 10-bolt that I have rebuilt once with Richmond Street 3.73 gears and an Eaton carbon fiber clutch posi. It has run a best G-Tech time of 13.6 at 110 mph spinning the tires through first and halfway through second at 5200ft elevation. The car is estimated around 450 fwhp and over 550 ft/lbs of torque. I am in the process of pulling the car apart to repair the body, replace the broken windshield, and replace the transmission. The car was sitting for about a year after I blew 3rd gear. This is the 4th time starting since. There is a pulley that is making noise that can be heard over the blower. I am planning on making a few more videos before the teardown. The revs were to about 4000rpm and the belt was not adjusted very tightly. Sorry about the bad sound quality.

Which car is faster? Which Car is Faster?
