1969 Pontiac GTO Judge Drag Car at Jackson Dragway + TV Clip
A few runs that took place in about 1990 at Jackson Dragway in TN. This is the 1969 GTO I built and raced back then. As you can see, the car didn't hook very well at Jackson and was lible to run .10 faster or slower depending on the launch. As you can see it wasn't any slouch, besting tube chassis T-Birds and Nitrous fed Camaros. This was an old school GTO with a stock bore and stroke 455, 850 Holley, 5000 stall TCI, TH400 and 9" Ford rear end with 4:10 gears. All motor, no Nitrous, no trans break. If your interested, you can find more details in the text of my first 69 GTO video.
69 GTO Judge " Sounds Nasty " 4 Speed 2 1/2" Pypes Exhaust
1969 GTO Judge 1st. Cold start after being fully restored. The idle is a little high. It's a real PHS documented 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. With a WS Ram Air III 400 CID engine, 4 Speed tranny. Running 3 tube hedman headers with a 2 1/2" Pypes with X crossover Exhaust system. I added lots of options including: Tilt, 8-Track, dual remote mirrors, maplight, Tinted windows, hideaway headlights, Exhaust tips, NOS Hurst emblem, Lojack, door edge guards, quick ratio power steering. The frame was powdercoated along with the control arms sway bar etc. The car had a rare Ram Air 4 Distributer that gives it a nice loopy sound along with a nasty cam.
1969 pontiac lemans 455
Here's a video of my 69 lemans with rebuilt 455 bored .040 over (464), speed pro pistons, edelbrock rpm camshaft, 6x-8 heads ported, comp cams rollertip rockers, edelbrock valve springs, procomp intake, 750cfm edelbrock carb, and flowtech headders. This combo makes great power and I love the torque this monster makes. Next upgrade will be edelbrock aluminum heads to really wake this beast up! Please comment on engine combo, body, and suggestions. Thanx
