Ford Raptor playing in the mud, Kodiak, AK
Just got done dumping a couple tank loads of water into our mudbog at our local track here in Kodiak, AK. We're trying to churn it up & get some ruts started so we can have some good mudbog action during our next event here soon. It's been dried out for a few months now but I'll post up some more vids when it's a bit deeper and harder to get through.
Chevy Rescues Ford Pickup in Deep Water, Grayland, Washington
It was about 1:00 PM today 7/17/2010 when a driver and 3 passengers were traveling south on the Grayland beach. About 5 miles south of Westport. It is legal to drive on the uppermost part of the wet sand on the beach in Grayland. They were traveling along the surf line when they drove out onto a sand spit. The driver drove off the sand spit into a deep trench caused by tidal action. The impact was vilant enought to send one passenger to the hospital with a non- life threatining head injury. She was treated by Grayland Fire Department and South Beach EMS then transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital. The male driver and two other female passengers were uninjured other than being very cold and wet. A very dedicated tow truck operator, Justin Jones with South Beach Towing raced to the scene and quickly got to work. Justin along with the driver of the pickup waded shoulder deep threw the cold salt water, to connect a tow rope to the Ford Diesel Pickup and pulled the rope with a South Beach Towing pickup breaking the strong suction of the soft sand holding the partially submereged vehical in place. Once the suction of the sand was releaved the pickup began to float as water rushed up the hood and icechests floated about the back of the pickup. Justin Jones, the tow truck operator worked hard to get the Ford to dry land however he estimates that the diesel pickup will be a total loss. A Washington State Park Officer stated that the driver will be issued a citation however it was unknown what citation he will be issueing. I do know it is unlawful to drive next to the surf line at low tide do to that being razor clam habitat. UPDATE 7/24/2010. I just found out that the lady transported to the hospital sustained a broken neck. I hope she has a speedy full recovery.

SVT Ford Raptor Jumping - Binger OK - 2010

2010 Ford F150 SVT Raptor 6.2l - off-roading in England
The mighty Raptor lands in the United Kingdom - and falls straight into a muddy puddle.
A rare site in this country, this truck is awesome off-road, but it doesn't fit in ANY of our tracks. It's always got one foot outside the ruts by about 18 inches and won't ever get into the woodland sections cleared by the much narrower Land Rovers.
This vehicle is STOCK with the exception of the very beautiful Corsa Performance cat-back Exhaust system.
All filmed at the wonderful Buildwas Leisure site near Ironbridge on a public access day.
We got braver and quicker later on in the day but by that time we'd stopped filming - that's an excuse to go back then!

Dodge vs. GMC vs. Nissan at Spring Creek

Dodge and GMC are on Nitto Terra Grapplers. Nissan is running Michelin LTX A/T2. The Nittos on the Dodge are old and bald; the Nittos on the GMC are nearly brand new.
2005 GMC canyon exhaust flowmaster cat-back
2005 GMC canyon 3.5L low milage . Great mid-size trucks ready to start any project...whether it is to race or to lift and go off road. This particular one has stock engine with cat back flowmaster 40. I'ved raced stock toyota tundras, tacomas, and the V8 dodge rams with "HEMI" engines...and its no match for these canyon trucks...they've got a great take off and great gas milage...Can't ask for more!!!
