Chevy Caprice PPV test drive
This is a test drive of the 2011 Chevrolet Caprice police car. The car has tons of room, 0-60 in 6 seconds and tops out at 148,( top speed not tested). After about 50, 0-60-0 runs, I drove the car and it had zero brake fade. The car handles great and would run circles around a Crown Vic.

It's a modern, full-size, rear-drive sedan that will offer both V-8 and V-6 engines, as well as a host of specialized equipment and features. Chevrolet made the announcement at the annual International Association of Chiefs of Police convention, in Denver, Colorado. The Caprice PPV will be available for ordering next year and will hit the streets in early 2011.

The first 2012 Chevrolet Caprice PPV Police Patrol Vehicle for Portland Police Bureau. The new look for PPB is dark blue with white doors. It is now patrolling the streets of Portland. They still have about 30 FCVPI that still need to outfitted and then PPB is switching over to all Caprice's. They are going to get a few Chargers but PPB is sold on the Caprice.
