Car runs beautifully, starts up right away. A lot of work was put into this car, and i recently replaced oil, starter, spark plugs, and water pump. Has a lot of torque for a V-6. Loud deep Exhaust. Car was owned by a mechanic before I purchased it. The turn signal lever is cracked, but i purchased a new steering column that i can install for you. The passenger side mirror was removed for cosmetic purposes, but can be easily re-attached. I can supply VIN # if requested. I am selling it to buy a friend's 69 Nova for restoration.

1969 Pontiac Firebird 400
This is my 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 project-Plans for this car are drum to disc brakes upgrades first! You can hear the old drums squeeking as I brake! suspension, interior, and house of kolor candy apple red paint with black rally stripes! Audio system and interior are already being worked on. Also im planning to lower it 2 inches all around. Im debating on wether to paint the wheels black or match them kandy apple red? or try to combine both black and candy red for the rims? What do you think?
Engine is a freshly rebuilt 400 block, .060 bored, hooker headers, holley carb, holley electric fuel pump, and dual flowmasters. For now not focusing on the engine but I've been thinking about rebuilding a faster 400 and upgrading the automatic transmission to a manual shift 5 speed. Not trying to build a car show quality or a superfast car, mostly a cruiser and once in a while fun at the drag strip.

My Pontiac Firebird
new firebird video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m9zsk5VHgo Here is my 98 Pontiac Firebird.
Below is some info about my car..
Please comment, rate, subscribe!
Its a 3.8 V6..Before you start talkin bout me having a V6 instead of an v8 :P..keep this in mind
It's my first car, i found out that my insurance company might not even be able to insure me b.c i recently got my license, and even if they could, it would be really expensive...so theres the main reason i didnt get a v8.. :(
And no, i didnt get any help from the parents.. i get people saying mom and dad bought it for you huh? but nope..i payed every single cent on this car, they gave me one free tank of gas, and thats it..i payed for everything.. :D
Another reason is b/c of gas, and the great deal i got on this car..
its a 98, and its in amazing condition, inside and out, there are no problems with it now (when i bought it the lights were stuck up, and there was a decent chip on the bumper, but the previous owners fixed it for free) :)
My car is not completely stock..had a few small things done to it..
The Exhaust system has been redone and it has true duals
i also have a stage two clutch system
The car's computer chip has been modified (i think the previous owner said 220-225hp rather than 200hp)
I put black corvette z06 rims on it
I painted the calipers red
Flawless 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400
Dave Armstrong, the master GM mechanic who keeps my Fiero on the road, did a frame-up restoration on this flawless, award-winning 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400. (Quick, all you old-timers. What were the names of the other Firebird models available that year? No peeking.)
I'm always amazed at his ability to find NOS parts that aren't even being made anymore by anyone, especially GM.
Dave takes this car to Pontiac shows during the summer; don't miss the opportunity to see it up close and personal. This video doesn't do it justice.
If you have a GM car (or any other car or truck, for that matter), and you live in the Chicago area, take it to him. Ace Muffler, 7157 W. Irving Park Rd., near Harlem/Irving Plaza. (773)282-1444. How good is he? When he replaced the Iron Duke in my Fiero, his years of experience allowed him to take the old one out through the top instead of dropping the rear suspension and drivetrain, as Pontiac recommended. Yes, he knows his business.
And anyone who would take a car like this into Chicago evening rush-hour traffic is either very brave or knows that he could build another one just like it, which he could;) That lap-dissolve at 3:16 was necessitated by a very rude, very obscene comment and hand gesture by the female passenger in that Toyota Yaris. Pure jealousy, that's all that was.
That Firebird 400 V8 sound is music. If you have stereo speakers on your computer, turn them up.
He's also restoring a '69 Pontiac Ventura, which I shot video of and will be uploading later on.
