Nearly Killed in New London, CT!
As an Amtrak Regional Train approaches New London, CT bound for Boston Mass, all is normal. Until a man with a Chicken in a bag decides to take a nice stroll across the train tracks without a care in the world. Had he been a few seconds later, who knows, would he have waited? or would he have kept going. Whatever the choice he is an idiot.
Enjoy the stupidity!!!

1964 Glasspar Avalon
This is a 1 year anniversary timeline of our classic 1964 Glasspar Avalon
1957 Johnson 35HP G3 first run
First driveway run after getting all my controls, electrical and steering put together. The motor is a 1957 Johnson SeaHorse 35HP. The boat is a 1960 Glasspar G3 Center Deck.
1959 Glasspar Seafair Restoration
What started off as a repair on a bad stringer turned into a seven month project. On this boat the stringers are bolted to the cabin door frame. The door frame is bolted to a cross member, which is the backbone of the flying bridge ( entire upper structure. All the wood was dry rotted. We kept moving foreword until we got to good wood. We fabricated new parts and updated the cockpit and cabin. A re- wire was done and new upholstery was installed. The gas tank was moved to the aft. The "Joanne Two" had her debut at the fiberglassics golden state regional's at lake San Antonio. Some members of the FiberglassicsGS were working on similar boats and we were able to see before hand into sealed areas prior to re-working. Pictures of the boat appear in the Peter Hunn book Tail fins and Two Tones from that meet.Brother Paul was the quality control expert and inspiration on the project and Joanne #1 (wife and financier, love of my life) I have since added a CMC power tilt / trim and I was able to re-glass the splashwell.
Fiberglass boat salvage project
Timelaps video of a salvage project I had. An idea was to buy a boat gone bad cheap and fix it to good. This is a four meter, unsinkable double floor fiberglass boat manufactured in Finland 1973. It weights 80 kilograms, capacity is four persons. with four horsepower motor, goes 8,5 knots ( 2 persons). With 15 hp motor, it goes 17,2 knots (2 persons) / 13 knots (3 persons). As an old boat, there were several holes, patched poorly thou and I decided to open them all up and do it properly myself. I found soft unhardened putty, flaking fiberglass and topcoat due to somebody not sanding the lower surface at all for new layer to fasten well. Project took me 3 weeks, 70 hours to be exact and materials cost me 184 euros. Check out my 2012 boat project video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5sLaMi94Jo&feature=plcp
