NYPD and United States Secret Service vehicles can be seen here in the vicinity of Ground Zero during the presidential visit of Barack Hussein Obama to celebrate the death of Osama Bin Laden. Forward flashing blue lights distinguish the USSS vehicles from the NYPD vehicles which only use red and white forward flashing lights.

Chris always wanted to be a cop, and even after being critically injured, and left for dead, he was still trying to get up and continue his pursuit of the two people who attacked him. After a long battle to recover from his injuries, Chris passed away on August 9, 2010. Poor guy! May he rest in peace! My condolonces to the family! I hope the cops caught the people!

An unmarked police car of the New York Police Department catches up with a bicycle that ran a red light at the intersection of 6th Avenue and West Houston Street. The fine? $270.

Undercover police car, most likely federal law enforcement. Notice the heavily tinted windows, including the thick dark strip on the windshield hiding the blue lights. Notice as well how low the car is sitting to the ground. No radio antennas are visible. Forward facing blue lights are not used on New York City (or state) police vehicles.
