I think I might need new rubber on my rears but need to inspect closer. I have about 22k on my GS-D3's, and I got a little fish-tailed leaving today.
However I pulled over to look at my tires and saw a bunch of that nasty thick parking lot oil caked around part of my rears. So during the meet I must have parked in a spot with a lot of that greasy grime on the ground. I'm guessing the 95 degree heat melted it and made it stick to my tires when I left. The second I hit 3000 RPM it was like I hit an oil slick.
Good enough excuse to start tire shopping though! Just wish the KDW's came in something bigger than a 295!"

During my time in Qatar i had an amazing ride in a friends beautyful Ferrari 458 Italia!
This "black beauty" was one of the first black 458 Italias in the middle east and comes with a custom made interiror.Brand new AVD.1 wheeles where custom made for this Italia including carbon parts.
The video shows the many accelerations including some flat outs and some lovely downshifts.During this ride we hit a topspeed of 245km/h!
NOTE: Before you complain about the fast driving please keep in mind that this video was recorded on midday during ramadan, meaning the streets were empty and it was possible to drive that fast.No other cars and drivers have been endangered! This car is not registered in Qatar so dont try to find the driver or even the car!

CORVETTE DESTROYED ON IMPACT
NEVER DRIVE faster THEN YOUR GURDIAN ANGEL CAN FLY .
I CAME UP ON THIS ACCEDENT SCENE MOMENTS BEFORE THE AMBULANCE GOT THERE . THE CORVETTE WAS BEING DRIVEN AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED LOST CONTROL WENT INTO THE DITCH ON THE RIGHT . THE LEFT REAR QUARTER PANEL STRUCK A SECONDARY POWER POLE . THE REAR OF THE CAR STOPPED AGAINST THE STUB OF THE POLE . THE TOP OF THE POLE BROKE OFF AND DROPPED OVER THE DRIVEWAY THE DRIVER WAS EJECTED THROUGH THE DRIVERS DOOR WINDOW AND T-TOP AND CAME TO REST UNDER THE SNAPPED OF POLE . THE LAST I HEARD WAS THAT HE WAS LIFE FLIGHTED TO PORTLAND OREGON . AS HE WAS BEING LOADED ON THE STRETCHER HE TOLD THE POLICE THAT HE WASN'T THE DRIVER .

Notice the nice police lady stopping traffic so the cars can get sideways without worrying about other cars!! No one was harmed in the making of this film...except for maybe the entire left suspension of the Vette. By the way, I was standing just next to a big concrete pole, so I was about the only one protected, I'm glad those kids didn't get hit.

Corvette and Ferrari Crash
At a local event for a track day, some Corvettes and Ferraris get tangled up in Big Bend at Lime Rock. Keep your eye on the front of the pack.
Nobody was hurt but 3 cars did get some damage and alot of other cars got wet and muddy from avoiding the carnage.
