den C-Max gibt es mit einem 1,6l Benziner in 6 Varianten von 85PS bis 182PS und zwei 1,6l Diesel, die dann zwischen 95PS und 115PS leisten. Der stärkste Benziner ist dabei die EcoBoost Variante, wobei der Motor aufgeladen ist.
Der Verbrauch liegt dabei bei etwa 6,0 - 6,8l und beim Diesel bei etwa 4,5l.
Fünf oder Sieben Sitze sind im C-Max verfügbar und laden die Insassen dank der hohen Sitzposition zum gemütlichen Reisen ein. Dank der 3 komplett unabhängig einstellbaren Sitze bietet der Font dem Passagier individuelle Sitzeinstellungen für eine angenehme Sitzposition. Da die Sitze auch komplett Umklappbar sind vergrößert sich das Kofferraumvolumen enorm, wobei hier eine ebene Ladefläche vorhanden ist.
Im C-Max arbeitet ein CD-Bluetooth Radio mit Freisprecheinrichtung und Boardcomputer. Ein USB und Aux-Anschluss bietet dem Radio eine hohe Konnektivität bei Multimedialen Anwendungen.
In Sachen Sicherheit bietet Ford dem C-Max bis zu 6 Airbags und ESP. Für eine unfallfreie Fahrt rückwärts hilft das Ford Park-Pilot System, wobei 4 Sensoren im hinteren stets ausschau, sowohl akustisch als auch optisch, dem Fahrer Hindernisse mitteilen.

Ayuda a realizar maniobras de aparcamiento en línea, tanto a la izquierda como a la derecha del sentido de marcha. Se activa pulsando un botón en la consola. Una vez que el dispositivo ha encontrado un sitio para aparcar, es preciso seguir las indicaciones que aparecen en la pantalla de la consola. El conductor tiene que ocuparse de engranar la marcha adecuada y de accionar los pedales. El volante se mueve automáticamente.
Cuando el sitio es reducido el sistema necesita varias maniobras para aparcar el coche correctamente. Por el contrario, cuando el sitio es grande, el aparcamiento se completa en una sola maniobra.
Este asistente de aparcamiento funciona incorrectamente, por ejemplo, cuando entre dos huecos de aparcamientos hay un bordillo o bolardos.
