Aston Martin V12 Vantage Nürburgring Nordschleife Qualifying Lap with Peter Cate VLN #2 2010
Peter Cate was fortunate enough to again be asked to drive the factory Aston Martin V12 Vantage alongside Chris Porritt, Richard Meaden and Oliver Mathai. This is Peter's 8:57 qualifying lap for VLN 2. The car went on to win the SP8 class in the 4 hour race around the infamous Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Aston Martin V12 Zagato 2011 Nürburgring 24 Hours Qualifying Lap with Peter Cate
Peter Cate was fortunate enough to again be asked to drive with the factory Aston Martin team, this time piloting one of only two V12 Zagato race cars alongside Chris Porritt, Richard Meaden and Oliver Mathai. This is Peter's evening out-lap and qualifying lap (from 3:00 mins) for the Nürburgring 24 Hours, unfortunately spoiled by a yellow flag in the last few corners.
Porsche World Cup Nordschleife Onboard with Sean Edwards
Team Abu Dhabi by tolimit driver Sean Edwards finished 4th overall, 3rd in Supercup, 3rd in Carrera Cup and now leads both championships.
The race was so wet and it being his first time at this track in these conditions the race was a tough one!
The car is a standard 2011 997 GT3 Cup with no abs.

Groß war der Jubel in der Box des Frikadelli Racing Teams, als es Startfahrer Niclas Kentenich gelungen war, schon kurz nach Beginn des achten VLN-Laufs 2010 die Gesamtführung zu übernehmen. Neben Klaus Abbelen und Sabine Schmitz drehte Kentenich erneut am Lenkrad des Früh-Frikadelli Porsche 997 GT3 R. Schlussendlich beendete das schnelle Trio den 42. Produced for EVO magazine. Enjoy a lap of the famous Ring in 6.48 driven by Michael Vergers filmed using a ChaseCam solid state digital recorder combined with Dashware to convert the datalogger information into graphics on screen. In this case we customised the graphic package to include the Radical brand and our own ChaseCam brand, offering publishing houses and production companies the ability to commercialise onboard video and at the same time making it more engaging to watch. Dashware is fully customisable with a large variety of dial packs available.

Pagani Zonda R - Nurburgring lap
Pagani - Pirelli Tyre - Assuring new technologies and materials are fit for production means also putting the vehicle's components under severe stresses, exceeding those normally encountered in every day road driving.
The Nürburgring Nordschleife is the most demanding track in the world, for man and machine, an ordeal that each Pagani has to pass, only one of many in the entire development phase.
The Zonda R serves as the ultimate test bench, a car able to reach acceleration figures and speeds that are not possible with a road car.
This is further underlined by a laptime of 6:47,5 min for the 20,832 km Nordschleife. Driver: Marc Basseng

fast vergessen, noch nie gezeigt - eine Demonstrationsrunde über die Nordschleife im Programm des ADAC Eifelrennen 2008 mit Oliver Mathai im Porsche 962C.
Insgesamt eher gemächliche Runde mit zügigen Showeinlagen, beispielsweise im Abschnitt Brünnchen.

I have filmed the world debut to the Aston Martin Project AM 310 (known as the new Vanquish) during the 2012 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, known as the successor of the DBS or the Vanquish. Under the bonnet we find a 6.0L V12 engine that produces 575hp and 75% of the components on this car are completely new, let me say that the style is fantastic, it's a blend between the DBS and the One-77. Video shows multiple start ups and cold but loud revving, gotta love the backfire!
