1987 Mustang GT 5.0 idle problem
My engine started idling low and dying at times. It has a b303 cam in it and is updated to MAF. Ive cleaned the MAF and it didnt help.
Rebuilt 95 Mustang GT Can't Idle - Timing Problem?
More Info- I set the base timing to be 10* BTDC, dizzy set on #1 plug. WITH the spout connector in, I can get it to idle, but its rough and only has 15psi of VAC pressure. WITHOUT the spout connector, its like this. I just got done pulling the entire lower manifold off and re-sealing it with RTV on the ends, also checked all my VAC lines and electric connectors.
HELP! WHAT IS WRONG HERE?? I know theres some experts out there!

Best 5.0 Mustang heads... (Trick Flow???)
What is the best head, straight out of the box, for a standard bore and stroke 5.0 liter 302 with a well matched cam and long tuned-style intake (GT40/Cobra, etc...???) We are not talking about stroker motors or highly modded engines... just a stock bottom end 5.0 with bolt-ons. Everyone has their personal opinions... The over $1,000 TFS (Trock Flow), AFR (Air Flow Research), Edelbrock, Ford Racing GT40X, etc... or the budget heads like Flo-Tek 5.0X, Patriot, or worked over Iron versions like CNC E7 Power Heads, ported GT40 or GT40P heads, etc... What do you guys think? Let the head debates begin, lol.

Cammed 5.0 Timing Fixed
Yesterday I made a 5 min. Video on my Heads, Cam & Intake swap. In the video, the car was not running its best, I just made the video because I was very excited to finish the upgrade and was enjoying my new toy. But now, it's day 2 of having it running again, so me and my dad fixed the timing issue. The timing is set at 12 deg advanced. Can't wait to get some in-car videos with it..
Nooooooo not the head gasket!!!

Rear seal has a tiny drip, about a drop or two after a long drive. No other leaks anywhere. I would drive this car anywhere and have made trips to San Antonio and Houston in it recently.
I have been modifying Fox body Mustangs for over 20 years and tastefully modify them. I have owned about 17 or 18 of these cars.
This car handles like a Corvette; the suspension was modified by the previous owner for handling and is super tight! The interior of this car has been restored and is in excellent condition. The paint is very nice also. The car is very strong and pulls hard through the gears and turns heads.
