2008 Accord Coupe V6 0-60
This is my 2008 Honda Accord Coupe with the 3.5 liter V6 producing 268 hp. I've modified the intake and have a catback Exhaust. I just left the transmission in Drive here with the traction off. It was a pretty warm day, around 85 degrees. 2010 Honda Accord EX 2.4 Sedan 0-60 mph
I know it's slow, and a big downgrade from my last car, so don't give me a hard time about it haha. I just wanted to share this for anyone out there who is curious about the performance of the 8th generation Accord with the 4-cylinder engine and automatic transmission. This is the 190HP EX version which has a more aggressive Exhaust system and a higher redline compared to the 177HP version found in the LX an LX-P. The EX's automatic transmission also has shorter gearing in 2nd, 3rd and 4th for better acceleration.
It's pretty slow (I counted 8.7 seconds 0 to 60), but it's better than I expected from such a heavy sedan with a small engine. I could probably trim a few tenths by actually launching the car (I just eased into the throttle on this run) and manually shifting at the redline, so I'll probably do that in another video in the future. Please feel free to ask any questions or make any comments. Thanks for watching!
