I was wanting to get a video of my gauges while running a 0-60. so why not zip-tie my camera to my cup holder. Worked perfectly.

94 4Runner: Speed Sensor Mod, and Finishing Touches! (09/10/11)
Well, this morning, i modified the cable driven speed gear to fit into a speed sensor, so i could see how fast i was going, then I realized i didnt have the harness anymore haha! so I went to my buddy's place to grab the harness off his parts 4runner. I got the speed sensor installed, and wired up, then worked on a couple little things.
I took the 4runner for a drive today! went to the store, then to the mailboxes and back... had a close call, but got it fixed!

TOYOTA 4RUNNER ROAD TEST
1992 TOYOTA 4RUNNER V6, 4x4, 5 Speed Swap. 4.88 ratio.
After rebuilding the topend w/ MLS head gasket and a 5 speed swap over the useless automatic with the V6 engine I finally got it running. Much better overall, worth the work that I can say.
Mostly stock, stock pipe from engine to tail. Custom intake. Nology Coil.
Future plan, header, new and bigger 2.25 or 1 half pipe through out the tail. 3 inch body lift, 15x8 w/ size 33. Striaght axle hmmm? Oh yeah locker front/rear.
Alittle info on the stuff in need for the swap,
You will need,
5 speed brake bracket. Also need to drill a hole through the firewall. Its about a 31mm or 30mm hole. Or a 29mm forgot the actual size, but you can measure it. Install the 5 speed bracket first before you drill a hole.
Brake master, Slave cylinder, the soft and hard line.
Flywheel, Clutch kit, Flywheel Bolts, clutch bolts.
5 speed Transmission mount. I reuse my Drive shaft from the trans to the rear diff... But if you can get one from a 5 speed is recomm.. I still using mine.
Shift knob. Need also to cut and fit the shift mechanism.
That is all I can think of. So it should be it...
To start the car you need to look for the connector from the transmission wire. It should be the one that has the 8 connector with two big black wire. You need to cut those two and splice them togheter to start the truck. No need to step on the clutch to start. This was the way I did on mine w/o cruise control. If you want with cruise control you need to hookup the wire to the clutch pedal so I cannot help you there cause I have not done on mine yet.
If your is a 4x4 it will not operate in 4 Hi but it will work on the 4 Low. To get the 4 Hi working there is more wire need to be done and I myself haven't done this. But you can get a set of manual hubs to get the 4 Hi working again since the auto will have no power to operate it when you swap it.
The ECU and the wire is still the same.

0-60 in about 7 seconds. Lots of smoke, long black lines and going way too fast for an SUV.

Please comment below and let me know what you think of the video as a whole, I usually make my videos much shorter then this, I am experimenting to see if there is any reason to go into detail like this or if it is just pointless and keep it to 1-2 min videos with no real details.
This video is about my TRD supercharged 4runner. This video Is a general overview that some people have wanted to see. Starting about halfway though the video is the street pulls and burnouts. If you just want to see those i have another video with only the driving part of the video since most youtubers have the attention span of a 5 year old.
