I already knew I could beat him and I have a great reaction time. I decided to give him about a second head start and not launch the Mariner. I was like omg am I really going to win? HYBRID POWA!
Ford Escape VS '03 Cobra
I don't really have to say much on this one.
This was shot after leaving the NMRA Drag races in Joliet, IL Saturday July 18, 2009. You know who wins! But the car with the flames out the back was awesome!

In this video I go over the walkaround and review of the 2005 Mercury Mariner, go over the interior as well as exterior, and show the features on it.
Stats: 2005 Mercury Mariner, black with tan/black cloth interior, 3.0-liter V6 with automatic, P/everything, premium Ford audio, mileage unknown, AWD, date of manufacture: December 2004.

Crash Test 2005 - 2008 Ford Escape / Mercury Mariner / Mazda Tribute (Frontal Offset) IIHS
Ford Escape
2005-08 models
results also apply to: 2005-08 Mazda Tribute | 2005-08 Mercury Mariner
FRONTAL OFFSET TEST
OVERALL EVALUATION: Acceptable
Structure/safety cage Injury measures Restraints/dummy kinematics
Head/neck Chest Leg/foot, left Leg/foot, right
Acceptable Acceptable Good Acceptable Poor Good
Important: Frontal crash test ratings can be compared only among vehicles of similar weight.
Test details:
The Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute were introduced in the 2001 model year and structurally modified beginning with 2005 models to improve occupant protection in frontal crashes. The Mercury Mariner, introduced in the 2005 model year, also had the structural modifications. The Mazda Tribute skipped the 2007 model year. All three models were modestly restyled for the 2008 model year, and electronic stability control was added as a standard feature.
Note: These ratings and specifications do not apply to the hybrid (gas-electric) versions of the Escape and Mariner.
Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the B-pillar and roof rail.
Injury measures — Measures taken from the head and chest indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on the right tibia and both feet indicate that injuries to the lower leg would be likely and injuries to the feet would be possible. Forces on the neck indicate that injuries to the neck would be possible. Head acceleration from the B-pillar/roof rail hit was low.
